Unbelievably annoyed with myself this morning. Misread my flight information and arrived at the airport 30 minutes before the flight– too late to board. Watched the flight take off while walking back to the hotel.

Here for another night when I really just want to be home.

It's funny how on Sunday I arrived here in Whitehorse ready to get down to business, full of energy. By the end of Thursday, I'm absolutely wiped and counting the hours until I head home.

In the middle of a work trip for a week. It's annoying how the rhythm of my days are completely off. Not sleeping very well, not as hungry, constantly tired. Looking forward to being home on Saturday.

Parenting a teenaged daughter is challenging for me as a dad, because her experiences are so opposite of who I was at 14, and her needs are very different too. The two conversations last night with women helped provide a new perspective to think about during this week away from her.

Making last minute preparations for a trip leaving on Saturday. YLW -> YVR and then onto YXY on Sunday for a week. I'm exhausted already and I haven't even left.

Going back through my website and editing the posts that I haven't touched since I imported them into Ghost a few years ago. It's shocking to see me write about writers or podcasts seven years ago that I still enjoy now. Somethings never change.

Watching the NFL conference championship games today. Some wild, entertaining games that could have been won by either team. More of this, please.

My day was spent exploring Make and seeing if it was possible to create a cross-posting engine from my blog to different sites. Frustrating, yet rewarding when it actually works. I need to do more of this type of thing again.

If today is an indication of what’s to come, 2024 is going to be a challenging year.
